Puppy Basic Life Skills
For puppies between the ages of 3 to 9 months.
This Puppy Basic Life Skills Class is appropriate for puppies from 12 weeks of age to 9 months. What our puppies learn first they learn best, so do not wait to attend classes with your puppy! Our positive reinforcement classes focus on using food, toys, and play to bring out the best in your dogs. We will cover such foundational skills as teaching name response, sit, down, stay, come when called, leave it, go to bed, polite leash walking, decreasing jumping up, ignoring food on the ground, manners around food, focus around distractions, etc.
Class length: 6 Weeks
Class Cost: $180 + tax
Class Size: 4-6 puppies
Please note that these classes are NOT appropriate for dogs with aggression or reactivity issues. Please contact one of our trainers to discuss training options for these behaviours.
COVID CONSIDERATIONS:
- We are also limiting class attendees to one human per puppy for the time being. You may alternate which family member brings the puppy each week, but only one person per week may come.
