PERFECT PUPPIES - Before Puppy Arrives, Arrival to 12 months

Cost: $300.00 - Discounts available for rescue and adopted dogs!

Owning a dog from the time they are a young puppy is a special opportunity. Start them off on the right paw with the Perfect Puppies program. Learn what it takes to help your puppy develop into a confident, happy dog you will be proud to take anywhere. Your puppy will amaze you with what they can learn in just four hour-long consultations that include but are not limited to the following.....

- Communicate clearly with your puppy from day one.

-Preventing problem behaviours and managing teething, nipping and chewing.

- Learn about critical developmental periods that can affect the rest of your dog's life, safe socialization and confidence building exercises.

- Basic obedience skills (name, sit, down, come when called, loose leash walking).

- Housetraining & Crate training.

- Understanding puppy play.

- Nutrition and general care including nail trimming and grooming.

- Practical management tips.

You may choose to have your first session before your puppy arrives to make sure your home is puppy proof and be ready to get your relationship off to a great start.

LIFE SKILLS - 12 months and up

- Teach practical life skills without scaring or hurting your dog, including sit, down, stay, a reliable recall, leave it and loose leash walking.

- Earn your dog's respect.

- Develop a strong, loving bond with your dog.

- Prevent common behavioural problems like aggression, jumping up, separation anxiety and resource guarding.

- Enjoy learning in the stress-free environment of your home when it is convenient for you.

FEISTY FIDOS - All Ages

Your dog is perfect except.....

Learn how to safely and humanely manage your dog's problem behaviours in the comfort of your own home.

- On-leash reactivity (growling, barking and lunging at other people and/or dogs).

- Resource guarding (food, furniture, people).

- Separation Anxiety (destructiveness, house soiling, excessive whining or barking when home alone).

- Fears and Phobias (storms, vet, strangers).

- Reliable recalls.

- Polite leash walking

WALK-n-TRAIN - All Ages

Cost: 1day/week = $50.00/hour; 2 days/week = $46.00/hour; 3 days/week = $44.00/hour; 4 days/week = $42.00/hour; 5 days/week = $40.00/hour
