Group Training - Puppy Play-n-Train - Play, Train, Socialize.
Approximate age groups10-16 weeks & 16-32 weeks
Cost: $18.00/per class or prepay and save 4 weeks for $60.00!
***Please bring your puppy to class on an empty stomach if possible along with their dinner kibble and some soft treats***
Puppy Play Groups are held off-leash in a fun and easy going environment, where your puppy gets the benefit of mini-training sessions, for basic skills such as taking treats politely, name response and coming when called, sit, down, walking mannerly on-leash and how to shake-paw. In between mini training sessions, your puppy will enjoy play sessions that include lots of socialization with other puppies while being exposed and handled by new people and children. Puppies are divided into 2 groups determined by age, personality, size and energy level.
Some other features of our Puppy Play Groups include advice and demonstrations (whenever possible) on dealing with and training practical real life concerns like the following and more!
- Managing teething, nipping and chewing.
- Housetraining.
- Understanding puppy play.
- Nutrition and general care.
- Crate training.
- Practical management tips.
- Nail trimming and grooming.
- Critical developmental periods that can affect the rest of your dog's life.
- Safe socialization.
- Confidence building exercises.

Group Training - Life Skills - Fun, Fast Results.
10 Weeks and Up Course Length: 7 weeks Cost: $160.00
The Life Skills course is limited to 4-6 dog families/per 7 week course. Classes are held in a fun and relaxed environment, where you and your dog will learn practical skills like coming when called, sit, down, walking mannerly on-leash and how to stay. At the end of every class you will learn a new game or trick like shake-a-paw, roll over, sit pretty and more.
It starts with understanding. The first class is for the people only. In the first class we will review the course outline, practice our training skills and give demonstrations of some basic exercises. Having the chance to talk one on one, observe how the training is done and ask questions, all while not having to worry about being interrupted or distracted by your dog will give you a big advantage for what to expect and what will be expected of you in this course. As you can imagine the first class with dogs can be pretty exciting, having some initial training skills as well as a general idea of how the course will be run will make things less overwhelming for you and easier on your dog.
The Life Skills course is 7 weeks in length and includes the following;
- First night information session & question period (people only)
- Life Skills Training Guide with easy step by step instructions
- Welcome Doggy Bag includes a clicker and some other goodies for you and your dog
- Graduation Certificates
Limited space available!! Only 4 - 6 dogs/families are accepted to each Life Skills course!!
Pre-registration is required! The Life Skills course is usually booked at least 1 week prior to the start date. We do keep a cancellation list and occasionally have a last minute space available.

Take Your Training Further! - In Association with True North Agility
Course Length: 6 weeks Cost: $125.00
Lay a strong foundation for a balanced K9 athlete during this six-week program. Develop the bond and focus your dog will need to be successful in any sport while learning basic agility skills that promote fun and safety. Learn how to motivate and calm your dog, creating an on/off switch that will help you in dog sports and everyday life.

Course Length: 6 weeks Cost: $125.00
Once you have completed Foundation I or if you have some agility experience (dogs should enjoy jumps and tunnels), continue to bond and have fun with your dog while you learn how to efficiently navigate short sequences of obstacles. Learn the newest and fastest way to teach your dog how to weave and develop solid contact skills.

Before Puppy Arrives, between 6 weeks to 12 months
Owning a dog from the time they are a young puppy is a special opportunity. Start them off on the right paw with the Perfect Puppies program. Learn what it takes to help your puppy develop into a confident, happy dog you will be proud to take anywhere. Your puppy will amaze you with what they can learn in just four hour-long consultations that include but are not limited to the following.....
- Communicate clearly with your puppy from day one.
-Preventing problem behaviours and managing teething, nipping and chewing.
- Learn about critical developmental periods that can affect the rest of your dog's life, safe socialization and confidence building exercises.
- Basic obedience skills (name, sit, down, come when called, loose leash walking).
- Housetraining & Crate training.
- Understanding puppy play.
- Nutrition and general care including nail trimming and grooming.
- Practical management tips.
You may choose to have your first session before your puppy arrives to make sure your home is puppy proof and be ready to get your relationship off to a great start.
